BDS Lift Kit 3.5in Upper Control Arm

This new system builds off the factory mounting points and offers improved strength, ground clearance and suspension travel. The new ride height is the result of a combination top mounted steel fabricated strut spacer along with preload spacer for a total 3.5in of front lift. The reason for the combination is to achieve the correct ride height without increasing the overall extended length of the strut assembly too the point of causing premature wear of the CV axles and other front end components. Also supplied for the front end are a pair of performance upper control arms (UCAs) designed for improved strength and suspension travel. Built from thick wall 1.5in DOM tubing, these UCAs utilize an indexed ball joint cup to reposition the upper ball joints and allowing more droop travel. These arms come fully assembled right out of the box with high quality greaseable Moog ball joints and Clevite rubber bushings for long life, quiet operation and superior corrosion resistance over uniballs and heims. Finishing out the front of these 3.5in systems is a small differential relocation to help further improve CV axle operating angle. In the rear of these lift systems the factory leaf springs are retained and 1in lift comes from a heavy duty replacement shackle. These shackles are built from high strength 3/8in steel and have the benefit of leveling the stance, correcting rear pinion angle and allowing for increased rear suspension travel. Also supplied for the rear of these 3.5in lift kits are your choice of specially tuned NX2 nitro series gas shocks or FOX 2.0 IFP performance series gas shocks for improved damper performance. All kits come finished in a durable black e-coat finish and sent with all hardware packs to complete the install along with step-by-step installation instructions.
